School bus stop arm camera systems are rapidly expanding across Florida, and many drivers are being caught off guard. These automated enforcement programs issue tickets to drivers who fail to stop for a school bus when required by law. As more counties roll out or reactivate these systems, it is becoming increasingly important to know where they are active.
This page will be continuously updated by The Ticket Clinic to track where school bus camera systems are currently in use across Florida, along with new locations expected to launch soon.

How School Bus Camera Tickets Work in Florida
School bus camera systems are mounted directly on the side of buses and automatically record vehicles that fail to stop when the stop arm is extended. These systems capture video and images of the violation, and a citation is then mailed to the registered owner of the vehicle.
Unlike traditional traffic stops, these tickets are issued without an officer present. That means many drivers do not realize they were cited until they receive a notice in the mail, sometimes weeks later.
Why These Tickets Are Increasing
Florida has seen a sharp increase in automated traffic enforcement, particularly in school zones. Local governments are partnering with private vendors to install and manage these systems, often citing safety concerns. However, the volume of tickets issued has raised concerns among drivers about fairness and accuracy.
