Spiking in March and April 2026 across Florida and especially in South Florida, residents are being targeted by a new wave of highly convincing text message scams. These messages often claim that you owe money for a traffic violation and threaten serious consequences like license suspension, vehicle registration cancellation, or even legal action if you do not pay immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
