{"id":361,"date":"2014-03-05T13:13:10","date_gmt":"2014-03-05T13:13:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.theticketclinic.com\/blog\/?p=361"},"modified":"2023-01-31T23:25:01","modified_gmt":"2023-01-31T23:25:01","slug":"increase-red-light-camera-collision","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theticketclinic.com\/es\/blog\/increase-red-light-camera-collision\/","title":{"rendered":"Report from Florida&#8217;s Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles Finds an Increase in Collisions at Red Light Camera Intersections"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A recently released report from Florida&#8217;s Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles provided a telling look at the reality of state-wide red light camera programs. &nbsp;Although the State is touting decreased collisions at many red light camera intersections, in fact this is misleading.&nbsp;&nbsp;The report also&nbsp;found that while some jurisdictions did report a decline in collisions at red light camera intersections, in fact&nbsp;statewide, crashes at these intersections increased 21% from 2011 to 2012.
